so, I really didn't think it was possible to love Damon more until watching 2x12. I can't even explain what I feel about this character. he grew on me since the pilot. and even before that when I read about him and in the books as well. being seen as the bad brother, misunderstood and barely showing anyone the person he can really be. he's got so much love to give, and always gets back the worst of it. but i really really really adore his character.

anyway this is not such a special video, but i want to dedicate this to two girls who love him at least as much as i do.

eva, it is your birthday soon, and i suck so much at making something good for you, this is kind of a present for you too, but trust me you'll get something better when i'm done making yours :) you're like the sweetest girl that exists on youtube and you always help me through everything, simply with your words. you're a real angel. love you so much ♥

and cris, i don't think i need to say much anymore, we have a real understanding when it comes to ian, damon and generally certain feelings. i'm more than happy i know you, and i always love our talks and you're just one of my best friends here and i don't ever want to loose you. i hope you'll stay the way you are, because you're fuckin' perfect ♥

I don't think I can voice my thoughts properly. :P

I feel so, so much for Damon because for all the faults of his character, he's doing what he can to survive with his sanity relatively intact. The show's been steadily pushing him towards the breaking point and you nailed that in the vid, too - even though he is what he is, he *needs* someone to love him, someone to see beneath the exterior and to accept what's in there.

The vid's a real keeper, thank you so much for sharing it. <3

@LuvJohnnyx3 Loved it. I might even go as far as saying that this is my favorite Damon-centric TVD video ever, and I actually do mean that. It's the combination of the song and the clips you've selected rather than just the fact it *is* a Damon-centric video, and really... It's amazing. I think I might go and write a Damon fic now. :D

I really feel sad for him in every single Episode.

I mean he always tries to save Elena or his Brother or their Friends, but at the end of the day no one can really say: Hey Damon, I'm glad to have you in my life.

And that kinda makes me feel so bad for him.

He needs someone he can count on whatever happens.

And thats why I loved Rose so much, she was really good for Damon.

They could relate to each other and she understood him.

I'm really sad she died.
