@zatopecara Remember this clip from countdown on ABC Australia,, so it would probably still exist in much better quality somewhere at the ABC... but they still cut the "who gave it to us...Donny Osmand.... what !!!!!
-
is that shep gordon at the beginning looks like him . and is that dick wagner on guitar?.. good stuff
-
haha! The quality of the video makes him look all the more menacing :D

Like zatopecara and zodiacmz I remember this video being played regularly on Australian TV in 1975 (without the intro talk at the beginning).
TV was the first place I heard the song. I remember liking the video (it was quite good for its time) and the song has been one of my favourites since.

Related question, during the WTMN concert video, the drummers' (Whitey Glan) bass drums are FACE DOWN - can anyone shed any light on this as to why, how (or is it just another case... of something to "get 'em talkin'."
Thanks for posting this WAY COOL vid!!!

This promo was constantly played in Australia as opposed to the official version

check out motley spews version of this song SNOTLEY WHO
Thanks for posting this clip. I remember seeing this video played on Australian TV back in 1975 but I don't remember seeing the intro before. Maybe with some luck it might turn up again on a late night video show like Rage. It certainly deserves a re-showing!!

You'll never see this on TV I guarantee that.

Was this rehearsel for the movie or a live show?

Well this is a unreleased rehearsal for maybe a commercial for the Welcome To My Nightmare Tour. What was supposed to happen was that Alice paraded around onstage lip syncing to the track "Department of Youth" with the band in the background then all these kids would come out (from those two towers on the left and right sides of the stage) and they would sing along with Alice. I've seen a few pictures of this in my old magazines with Alice on the cover surrounded by the kids.

Well it is from 1975 and it is an unreleased promo version, with the unedited beginning. There is no other version of this that exists so sorry.
