"Glenn Miller -- The Very Best Of" has been re-mastered by Mike Hedges by taking each instrument and vocal off the track and cleaning it up, to make the final album polished.
It took over 400 hours to clean up the recordings - they were taken from the original metal discs that the sessions were recorded onto, some of which were in a poor condition because Glenn would go in and play them all the time as it was the only way to listen to his songs so he wore some of them out.
The process was overseen by two of today's top producers Mike Hedges (The Priests, U2, Dido' Manics, Texas, etc) and Simon Franglen who has worked with everyone from Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, having co-written and produced "My Heart Will Go On".
The winner of the BBC show 'I'll Do Anything', Jodie Prenger, has recorded a rendition of "In The Mood" which features on the album.
