oh my god i just had a totally nostalgic moment watching this. It's like waffles and saturday morning cartoons all over again. They just don't make cartoons like this anymore. Its all educational crap.

Music left because CBS offered him more money to be Garfield's voice for their new Garfield Saturday morning show, since his voice was already so closely identified with the character through the holiday specials. Since he didn't want to commute between LA and New York to do both Garfield and Ghostbusters, he quit Ghostbusters instead.

Actually Lorenzo Music was the voice of Garfield and Venkman, Bill Murray actually disliked Music's portrayal and he was replaced in later seasons by Dave Coulier. Ironically Murray later voiced Garfield in the live action movie.
