New Monkees Pilot (Part 1)

The term Pilot is misleading because this in fact was the 'presentation' to sell the show to distributors. This was never aired. In 1986 (which I affectionately call 'The Regurgitation Period' of televison) Straybert Productions held auditions, much like you see now on American Idol or Making the Band, to create a new television show. And this piece shows that process.

This plan was sooooooooooooooo stupid. I remember some of the shows over 20 yerars ago and it did not work. The idea was stupid. The music was interesting, though.

@AtmelInAtlanta the 747 was at about 33,000 feet when it started to violently shake. Suddenly, one of the wings ripped right off the fuselage and the plane began a downward spiral towards the Earth -- now THAT SUCKS!
