Shot in August 2011, I carried my video gear in backpacks over 6 miles up to elevations of 13,000 ft. to get some of these shots. Special thanks to Dr. Nathan Rank and the White Mountain Research Station for invaluable guidance. The petroglyphs in this video are over 1,000 years old. Some of the locations include Mono Lake, White Mountain, Bull Lake, Long Lake, Crooked Creek Station, Barcroft Observatory, Chocolate Mountain, and Yosemite National Park. The Bristlecone pine trees were shot in an area where some of the trees are over 4,000 years old and still alive. Mono Lake was formed around 760,000 years ago. Also, views of Bishop Pass.
