I am replacing my ssd in my Asus Eee-PC 701. The original ssd 4 GB had two wires-one white and one black- that snapped on. The new super talent 16 GB memory does not have any where to snap these wires on.
Any advice?

HORRIBLE INVESTMENT!!! I really hope you are suffering from buyers remorse after this....I can tell its been a few years but still for the price you payed for that thing you could have gotten a 16GB ssd and a big external hdd. The speed on this thing looks awful too... 40 read and 15!!!! write..............man ssds suck!!!! I feel so bad for you for having to buy this...

mine, i have a display problem. Its fine when running on the AC, but when i unplug it, the display goes that dark you cant hardly see it. ! The FN + F4 is at the max, but still way to dark. Any ideas ?

Only the first batch of 701 (with serial number starting with "7A") has mini PCI-e slot.
