  • awww, so pretty :-) which hair sprays do you use? the reason im asking is cuz i have long hair too and i dont wanna destroy them using unhealthy stuff.. which ones do you say are good? i will be waiting for the answer :-)

  • @wavokiaado I tend to use the Tresseme hairsprays at this point, though I have also heard good things about L'Oreal's Elnett too; I just haven't tried it yet!

  • Any advice for guys who want to do their hair in the 1940's style?

  • @ConservativeSamizdat Unfortunately I don't have any tips about men's hairstyle from the 40s.

  • What was the music used in the intro and outro? I loved it!!! :)

  • @allfantasticthings21 Unfortunately I got it from a free music site years ago and no longer have it on my computer, nor do I remember what it was called. :(

  • @ConservativeSamizdat slick your hair back and have bangs in the late 40s the jerry cirl was beginning to come into style.

  • your hair color reaaaaally suits you.

  • Fab technique

  • dont wash your hair for a day or two. it'll get the natural oils that will dd texture as well as keeping flyaways in check.

  • uughh i couldn't do the pull back twist and pin thing and my hand got tired xD

  • nice

  • @ConservativeSamizdat Maybe I could help here. :) Men's hair in the 1940's wasn't nearly as complicated as us ladies, but was styled in similar ways. For a casual look, simply slicking your hair back with gel and keeping it sleek throughout the day looks very handsome. If you're looking for a more formal style, try looking up a tutorial on easy finger waves. As a guy, you can slick your hair back and have the finger waves on one side. :)

  • your tutorial is great:) good tips
