Of course you can... Just change the position of your 3 way-switch, if you got it down as far as it goes you're using your bridge pick up. And if you're as far up as you can you're using your neck pick up. Looks like a lever , the 3 way-switch.

Reason you should use the neck pick up during the solo is cause it'll give you a better sound during the tapping etc...
