I'm sure you sound good live, but on youtube it just sounds weird.

You changed the key too, didn't you? I'm singing this song for a local competition next year, super excited.

If you played with the dynamics a little more, I think it would have been more entertaining and able to keep my attention longer. Just things to think about. :D

@kenzamabob Thank you! I appreciate that. (: Yeaah, a camera with really crappy audio quality will definitely take the dynamics out of a voice... and especially mine. ;) Fortunately, I've gotten a (hopefully) waaay better camcorder especially for video - so my covers should seem a bit better now. ;)

As for the different key, nope - it's the same as Charlotte Church's version. Different key than South Pacific's. (: Oh... I sang it too slow, too (urks me). Which makes it dull. Sorry. X)

I have no idea who Charlotte Church is XD  This is true, also the fact that there's no back track, which i know is hard to get anywhere, makes it a bit dull. I'm sure you would have sung it at the right speed if you had the instrumental :P

But you should definitely look up Charlotte Church. Her voice is enchanting. ^^ And so is her musical version of this particular song. Another reason why I was very much saddened to not have an instrumental for this cover... ):

Bravo. I rarely sit through an entire video especially something acappela. Bali hai is a very hard song to get through. I can play it on classical guitar and that alone exhausts me. Your pipes must be shredded after that rendition. Keep on pursuing your talent and stay away from American Idol. It will ruin you.
