I think the iRacing fans are so fanatical because no one wants to admit they were wrong! I bought rFactor 3 yrs ago for $40, lowest numbers I have seen was $99/yr for iRacing. im sure the iRacing numbers are for like2 cars and 10 tracks or something. iRacing lacks so much; no Spa, Suzuka, Monza, Bathurst, Monaco or any historic tracks. Cars; it lacks basically all historics but the 1979 F1 .If I had invested $300 over last 3 yrs on a sim that i could have got for $40, i would feel dumb also!

@dfonic2007 They're not wrong.. You get what you pay for.. Does rFactor have a complete library of laser scanned tracks? No.. Does rFactor have 24/7 sanctioned competition.. No.. Does rFactor give $10k to a road course and oval racer for being the best ? No. Does rFactor have officially sanctioned series from Grand Am, Nascar and Indycar? No.. Does rFactor have quarterly updates? No.. Can you find a race right now against solid competition at any of the tracks you mentioned ? good luck

@simracingtonight interesting...I thought you guys at "Simracingtonight" took an impartial view to your reviews and opinions....you even state at the end some parts of each has its strenghts and weaknesses...followed by the quote "YOU MAKE THE CALL!" ..i guess you guys dont really believe that..why not just make a video saying we love iRacing and dont like rfactor?...I thought you guys were "journalists"

@dfonic2007 As a "journalist" I was pointing out the facts.. The poster said that iRacing fans are wrong.. I disagreed.. Who says we don't like rFactor?  We love it.. It's just dated and the good competitions are hard to find in it.. This video is also 2 years old..

Iracing High Quality Drivers for a High Quality Game, we Pay for having a race where nobody its crashing u to get 1st, if u have 12 bucks try Iracing than you are allow to Talk whatever you want, I was a GT5 and Rfactor Fan till I got Iracing, GT5 and Rfactor are now full of dust. but I'm cheap and I will boycott Iracing because im frustated with my life, 99usd a Year racing against to such a clean and great drivers, u will also pay for having that feeling if sim racing is one of ur passion.

makes me wonder if the makers of this were impartial or not

iracing is a rip-off i just joined and thought it was cool until i figured out you have to pay on top of the subscription fee 12 dollars per extra car and there are a total of 20. and 15 dollars per extra track and there are a total of 38 tracks. so pretty much if you want all the tracks and cars you have to pay 810 dollars plus sub fee. with say gt5 you get all the cars (about 1000) and all the tracks for 60, 750 less than iracing.
