@fishyfingers: you're right, the soundtrack features the original radio edit only. That said, it also contains more songs which did not appear in the movie, than did appear in the movie - God knows why!!
-
In fact, only 4 songs from the entire LP appear in the film, and 2 only appear as background-incidental music!
Considering that Peckinpaw (director) went off the rails firing everyone left right and centre; that he was high on coke most of the time; that the blow out on Widow Woman's truck was not scripted; that half the crew quit because of Peckinpaw; that Kristofferson was absent often to honour tour commitments; that the script kept changing from day to day, and that there is not much plot (

@vengeyourownass: there were a few changes to the radio edit for the film: the original has a slightly different route for the convoy (ending in Omaha - but hinted to New York), the choir refrain was different, the makes of the rigs differed slightly, as did the Duck's load (logs - not chemical)...... Nevertheless, point taken: you are quite right.

Excellent editing bro!! I'm impressed. I loved the video, but I'd like to have seen a cameo from 'big-nasty' when his name was mentioned. You did a delightful cameo of 'spider-mike' when his name was mentioned, and a short piece of running the coops - it seems like you could use the motif throughout.
Nevertheless - top work bro! (one of my favourite films)

Great song, great movie and a great job done here
A movie involving a mile-long line of 18-wheelers against an evil sheriff; people don't see these kinds of movies being made very often. This song is a salute to all the truckers in this country ("...Ain't nothin' gonna get in our way.")
