Great hearing from you "Amico Mio! "David" was a "Character Write In", completely "Fictitious! Thought up by Lifefetimes' "Screen Writers"! They took a great many "Liberties" with Mr. Aarons' Book, in order to make Bobby's story, more "Marketable" perhaps! In spite of this though, it appears to have done more to put a "Human Face" on LGBTQ people, than anything else in my lifetime! Love Blaine

I had been watching Saw VI and VII for the past few days. I saw blood and gore constantly and thought, "those traps are ingenious." Then I watch this and can barely last a minute before pausing and saying "That's DISGUSTING!"

Grazie Drew my sweet "Aussie" friend, for reiterating so well the distinctions that I myself, Bobby Griffiths' boyhood lover "Blaine" here, have been trying to draw between today, and the US of those times! Though Mary Griffith and her family were actually "Presbyterians" at the time, the same quasi religious bigotry was universal among all "Christian Denominations" in those days! "Ugly" was a well chosen word on your part to describe the "Climate" back then!
