This is my 1963 1/2 Mercury Marauder Idling. 390 FE V8, Crane Cam, Demon 4bbl carb, hooker headers, edlebrock heads, water pump, intake. She sounds nice with dual 3" exhaust I think.

  • I can't tell the color.....possibly the lighting...is it PINK or White........damn pink would be awful cool

  • A very light pink color. Original color and paint mostly. :) Takes guts to drive a pink car... but not as many when she sounds like she did.

  • I'd take that over a Toyota any day!

  • can never beat the sound of an old FE baby!:)

  • I'm plopping a 460 in it in the next couple of years so i dont realy care about the intake at this point. It would be a good motor for a pullin truck or a wood hauler if nothing else, with a performer intake swap though...

  • @bigorangetrucker you should check out Jay Browns Intake Comparo book before you start bashing the Streetmaster. The dyno doesn't lie. In a street driven heavy car then a dual plane is better though.

  • Oh my god, your video made me come, I am 19 and I WILL have this car before i turn 21

  • Seriously? Another owner of this car that was born in the 70's? I thought I was the only person my age that appreciates this car!

  • @bigorangetrucker Eh, it worked alright on the Merc. Wasn't fully ported out so the runners still flowed very well with decent velocity, plus a carb spacer made a nice improvement (4 hole). Pulled a 2.05 60' time on street tires, with a 3000 stall converter. She went well! :)

  • those streetmaster intakes are junk. I have one on my 390 in my galaxie and it has nothing below about 3500 rpms. I will never buy a single plane again, especially for a daily driven street car.

    check out my vids...

  • @zobcity01 Not sure about that as I was born in the 70's, haha. Thanks for the comments! :)

  • Sounds killer!! FE!!
