Seashore Trolley and Bus Museum (ex-Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority) GMC RTS-04 #8400 was on its way back to its parking spot on the Museum property in Kennebunkport, Maine. This was the bus that I was driving however our good friend Tom was driving this bus.

Our good friend Tom who works at the Seashore Trolley and Bus Museum gave me and my friends a lesson on one of his NEWEST buses to the museum fleet. This bus sounds that damn good for a 1985 GMC RTS-04 bus...LOL! Enjoy!

It's a fun place to visit as I've been there on many occasions so I would advise you guys (and gals) to get up to Maine and enjoy the fun!

  • If only HCRR chuold do that to 8058 :'(

  • I have been away from Boston for so long the busses they used when I lived there are now in a museum

  • I grew up with these, and I think the T still has a few. Now that I'm a CDL bus driver, I'll have to take a look at your stuff when I move back to Boston, and/or go to school in Farmington.

  • I thought 1980's RTS were retrofitted with ac's in 1991 or 1992, I remember them having ac's when I used to ride them... Damn I miss these

  • when was this

  • Worcester Regional Transit Authority still has these buses plus several new Hybrids. I need one of these buses (more capacity) to have for my Latin Mass bus trip someday.

  • Damn! That looks like a place I could have fun!

  • I used to drive those old 8400 and 8500 series buses when I was at the T. Good to see one still running. When I left the T they were starting to retire most of these buses although the 8600 and 8700 and most 8800,89000 were still going strong. Those damn NABIs were real POS. Thanks for posting this video. It brings back good memories. Ex Cabot operator 2237 here.

  • This bus has the 6v71 Turbo/Atec

  • Oh u have tyme to put responses up thee but u dont have tyme to hit me up!!! wassup wit dat??? yea i put u on BLAST!!!
