the saw is specifically made for playing on...it's made by a co. called Mussehl & Westphal and is considered a tenor....i have one made by Sandvik that is a baritone. Some regular carpenters saws will play just fine....the steel needs to be flexible vs. rigid. thanks

If you glued/tied two or more saw handles together with different lengths of
saw blade you would have a wonderfull chorus effect as you bowed across
three blades ;-)
