If you glued/tied two or more saw handles together with different lengths of
saw blade you would have a wonderfull chorus effect as you bowed across
three blades ;-)

the saw is specifically made for playing on...it's made by a co. called Mussehl & Westphal and is considered a tenor....i have one made by Sandvik that is a baritone. Some regular carpenters saws will play just fine....the steel needs to be flexible vs. rigid. thanks

This was absolutely delicious to watch. Top notch performance on that old saw mate, is it a craftsman or something better, or does it matter? Any special bow, do you need to rosin up the saw? I'd love to give her a try. Thanks to coomadoug for sharing this gem! Mark
