  • This is a drill for coordination, it works well with young children. The technique is either off b/c it is an older style of breaststroke (former swimmers from 1990s) or because it is being marketed to the general population who do not have the upper body strength to use the force of the water with their arms to lift their head while maintaining a 45 degree angle.
