@dannysoundful Your Mac shares the RAM to run both operating systems at the same time. Once you close Windows your RAM will all go back to your Mac.

@dannysoundful Fusion 4 is to run a virtual machine such as Windows or any other operating system on a Mac. When you run Fusion 4 on your Mac you will be able to choose how much memory you want to partition from the hard drive and how much RAM you want to use for the virtual machine. The more RAM you use for your virtual machine, the less RAM will be used on your Mac. So when you have Windows open, your Mac will run slower because of the RAM being taken up by Windows.

Hey, can i create the 60GB (or however big i make it) partition on an external HDD instead of taking up space on my internal HDD (only 50GB left) or does it have to run from a main internal hdd?

@Lukeyy19 You can make the partition on an external hard drive but it probably would run that good, since its off USB. I wouldn't try partitioning, unless you have a fast connection like Thunderbolt or at least FireWire800.
