Why do you need relationship if it's possible to suggest an idea to unite them for one big country?
I'm suggest call the united country UNA(Union of North America) and associate Mexico to Central America ;)

I like seeing Canadians and Americans getting along. The two countries need a stronger relationship. There is too much hate towards one another from both countries.

Canucks like Obama because he doesn't carry that typical American jingoistic superiority attitude. Some conservatives may qualify this as an apologist / appeasing attitude but the rest of the world really welcomes this attitude.
