I'm Coming Home

My personal campaign for Coastal Restoration.

I made this video and I spent over twelve hundred bucks making 535 copies to cd and sending them to Congress in less than two months time immediately after we returned home from Hurricane Rita's wrath in September 2005....I made over three hundred copies more and distributed them at convience stores, Walmarts, Cruise ships and elsewhere....Anger is a great motivator and I was very angry concerning the damaging effects of Hurricane Katrina, Rita, coastal erosion and substandard levees....Over 2 years later I still haven't stopped writing Congress and I have written over FIVE THOUSAND LETTERS TO THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES 109th and 110th CONRESSES as of yet....Yes it is expensive but it is worth it!!!!

$60,000,00,000.00 in aid passed by government to coastal regions after Katrina for rebuilding. Number of homes completely destroyed: 60,000 = # of million dollar mansions that should currently be under construction. DO SOME SIMPLE MATH: Dividing the aid equally among 60,000 homes, 60 BILLION goes a MILLION 60,000 times. Where is the money?

If anybody could have brought the city of New Orleans together as one after the storm it is it's leaders and they didn't do that...They ran around the entire state and the entire nation playing partisan politics and the "blame game"!!!These are the things I would say to you but you blocked me....

New Orleans is rife with internal problems that will slow it's rebuilding progress down for years to come....Bobby Jindal has shown me that he can't even build a concensus in his own city (New orleans)...So how is he going to build a consensus in the entire state of Louisiana???

If you don't actively engage politicians then how can you even expect them to know what is best for you??? People have a habit of only doing what is best for themselves!!!! I write Landrieu, Blanco and Congress all the time....As far as Jindal is concerned, he has done very little while being a delegate to Congress....
