See if we can achieve the promised download/upload speeds from both these major carriers in Baltimore's Camden Yards. Note: The goal is to test what the average consumer would get in a given location, not necessarily to compare the two.

  • I get around 15 MBS down and 1.90 upload in NY

  • Rcr wireless with a wired mic

  • Should've done more than one test and maybe loaded a web page to be more accurate

  • They are both good. Ma boy has the t bolt and I the EVO. I got 9.2 mbps and he got 47 mbps down using ookla once in LA. Got on YouTube and I kept whooping his ass left and right! We decided it was a glitch for the t bolt on ookla.

  • @andreptile17 Cause its cheaper. You get what you paid for. Verizon costs more but you get more coverage.

  • ran my speedtest app on my thunderbolt here in NYC i got (43.10mbps down / 9.40mbps up / 57pin)

  • @wpgeek the sprint 4g network has more subscribers, VZW ended the 2nd Quarter with 1.2million. While Sprint has 4million+

  • 45mbps down and 13mbps up on my Thunderbolt WI / IL

  • The Sprint network is less saturated than Verizon. VZW benefits indoors+rural areas (700Mhz better penetration). Sprint has a capacity advantage.
