Well as a violinist I have to sort of disagree with you. I certainly odn't take that long, but concert halls are usually silent so insrumentalists can hear their intonation better. The concert hall Regina was in is a totally different environment, so it was louder, and probably not built to sustain the humidity since string instruments are actually very fragile and sensitive to that. If you're a professional, you wouldn't care how long as long as it gets you a perfectly tuned violin.

Or they're proffesional musicians and don't need to talk 30 minutes to tune instruments like a high school band...

idk why but i can kinda tell regina was rushing the tuning... Tuning is vital! Playing a string instrument means intonation will be a bitch if your strings are not in tune. Either way..AWESOME PERFORMANCE. Regina took my breath away AGAIN AND AGAIN. i love this song
