It is the soldier, not the reporter, Who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet, Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the organizer, Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier, Who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protestor to burn the flag.
God Bless the United States of America

Indeed...I got all chocked up seeing the text about 58,000 other soldiers names alongside those who fell in Ia Drang...

Thank you for posting this. I remember when "We Were Soldiers" ended, and being overcome with emotion, knowing that this was a real battle and learning what the soldiers had experienced. Then this song began to play, and it was comforting to let this music and those beautiful voices envelope me. It's very powerful.

This is the most powerful version of "Mansions of The Lord" I've seen/heard on YouTube.
If I may make a suggestion, I would make another video that begins with Lincoln's letter and that ends with "Mansions of the Lord" and used "mansions of the Lords" in the title. This video deserves the tens of thousands of hits that other one gets.
I only found this by accident and you have a beautiful message that could be better appreciated.
Just an old G.I.s 2 cents.
