  • Howcome he is filmed on the ground but when there is a wideshot he is alone?

  • @1315229 The entire video is shot from a helicopter.

  • I know, this is not about material wealth. But I still find it unbelievable that men playing an organized relatively safe game such as basketball are making millions of dollars while incredible, risk-taking alpinists such Ueli are not even close to that kind of monetary wealth. Nevertheless, I wouldn't trade a lifestyle like this for any amount of money.

  • @1315229 this video has been 'set up'... its not live footage of his actual record attempt, as this would have distracted him way too much and not been as impressive to watch. they spend hours lining up angles while he's repeating certain bits, as seen here... its still true, you're seeing him do everything he is doing, and its almost certainly similar to how it would have looked on his attempt. cool, either way. cooler, in fact, he did even more crazy freeclimbing to get the images :) x

  • he slips at 1:50-close call ;-)

  • @thatsmellsnice323 Thanks good smeller323 lol, great tune

  • @mandaltby the name of the song in the back ground is home by radical face

  • @Flerndw2222 I completely agree, I love the purity of alpinism :)

  • can someone please tell me what song is that in the background, I love it. What band is that, someone please?

  • @amanofnonation I couldn't imagine alpinism turn in to a business like basketball or football and I'd prefer if it'd stay that way.

  • @macaquemonkey I could imagine a situation were you fall, not all the way off the cliff, but start bouncing down a rocky slope. You might be able to dig an ax in and save yourself, so not being knocked unconscious on a rock outcropping would be helpful.

  • @rohanrrao Really? Even the steady shots two feet away from the cliff face like 0:55?
