I happen to be fortunate enough to have 3 FULL Haven of Rest Broadcasts of April 12, 13 and 18, 1978, on high quality casette tapesS! i recorded these off KTIS FM in the Twin Cities. They are every bit as good as the original broadcasts. What a blessing to have these! I listened one of the broadcasts tonight. It's hard to believe these recordings are over 33 yrs. old! I have a very high quality sound system and it just like listening to the original broadcasts all over again!!! WJohnson MN

I remember The Haven of Rest Quartet from when I was a child back in the 1930's.
I remember seeing First Mate Bob at a meeting at my church in Long Beach, CA, when I was about 5 or 6 years old. Their sound cannot be duplicated no matter what some of the videos claim. Thanks for posting! ~OneKewpie~

I love this program aired over Far East Broadcasting Co. from Karuhatan, Polo, Bulacan way back in the late fifties. I know many were blessed including me in this program.

My Dad would listen to the Haven of Rest radio show every afternoon back in the '70's and the show always opened with this song with the founder of the show saying, "Ahoooooooy there Shipmates, 8 bells and all is well. This is Paul Evans with the crew of the Good Ship Grace and we're coming to you from the Harbor call Haven of Rest..." Thanks for posting this...

Even though this came out before I was born at the end of 1967, it's Christian music like this that draws me closer to the Lord, much more so than contemporary Christian does. I love this song, which I would assume was their signature song. Thanks for posting these! :-)

This was great, they did have great harmony. Thanks for posting it. I relly love these old ones reminds me of the ones I grew up listening to. Some of this stuff today isn't fit to listen to. 5 STARS.
