@Holycartoon No, pilots are alot more qualified to fly than a driver is to drive a car. People die more in car crashes more partly because there is more cars, but there is more stupid drivers, drunken drivers, people not obeying speed limits.

EVERYONE PLEASE UNDERSTAND.
As a pilot of eighteen years, air travel is far safer than travel by train, boat or car. It is one of the safest methods of transportation.
If you say air travel is not safe, you clearly havent been in and around planes enough to understand how the industry works.

Do you realize that over 98,000 flights take place every day?
Ponder that. If you are so worried about it, don't drive. You have better odds of being killed on the way to the airport than in the air.
