Transit Supervan - Brands Hatch 2005

Ford Transit Supervan 3. This footage shows the van at Brands Hatch in 2005 with it's 3.0 V6 engine and not the original 3.9 V8 from its days in a Benetton F1 car. This van was brought out of storage to commemorate 40 years of the Ford Transit in 2005. This van is 7/8ths real size and finished in fibre glass.

Thanks for your post. The "Transit" was 7/8ths real size and fibre glass as you say. It also had a central driving position. When I filmed it in 2005 it had the second generation engine. Unfortunately the F1 engine was long gone and it didn't sound so good. I filmed this in 2005 when I worked with Ford, I chose the music as I "believed" in the concept. I didn't keep the original footage without music unfortunately. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Thanks to everyone for your messages.

Who would have thought that some film shot 5 years ago would cause such a stir. In hindsight, maybe Kylie wasn't the best choice of music. If I can find the original footage I will reload and drop the music, chances are though I won't be able to find a non-edited version. Sorry Transit lovers

I was going to complain about the music, but it looks like everyone else beat me to it. I guess by now the person who edited this is now fully aware, sorry...

P.s. must be fibre glass or similar as Tranny's are rot boxes, they must have been painted with metal eating paint, otherwise a good van.
