Cal the Greyhound - Looking for a Long Term Commitment

In 2008, the Greyhound Project produced a series of public service announcements to promote greyhound adoption. One of the spots, seen here, featured a black greyhound named Cal who was looking for a long term commitment. Fortunately for Cal, he was adopted soon after filming. But there are thousands more pleasant and adorable greyhound just like him waiting in adoption groups around the world for their forever homes. Thanks :) It was really helpful when I was doing research on adopting to see videos of how Greyhounds behaved with other pets and people, and to just see their mannerisms in general. I wanted to add to that helpful bunch of material on the web so hopefully others will be encouraged to adopt too!

THIS is what I call a cat friendly greyhound!! I love this video. My greyhound, Duke, cohabits nicely with our cat but I wouldn't call them friends. The greyhound in this video is outstanding. I see this was posted in 2010 and I hope they are all still healthy and doing well.
