This is the lesson 5 in HTML. It shows you how to create a decent structure with your HTML page. It also gives you an impression what you will be able to do with simple HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) later.

  • why are there no good lessons?

either they are way too slow, or they give 1 example for every code, which does not teach you anything except that 1 example.

how do normal people learn this? there MUST be a good (free!) course out there.

    help pls!

  • I think "normal" people buy a book or pay for a class. I have learnt HTML by just doing it and study from books or online resources. There are many free resources out there on the Internet that you just need to read.

  • ok i've seen all 5 vids now but.. I still dont understand a few things...

Where do i make a html file ?? can i just type something like this in wordpad then save as Example: my first try.html and then load it in pspad and then i've got something like a page.. then only upload it in yahoo and i got my own website ??

ps: i got also my own website tho with an help tool

tell me what you think of it :D

Also please reply on my question.. A big thx :)

  • it's all in the videos. As you said, type the html text into notepad and save it as index.html. Then upload it to yahoo geocities and call up your new site in the browser. Then you are done.

You can also come to my skypecast which is next saturday at 2pm GMT.

  • do it on a notepad, and save it with the ending as . html, e.g.: (bob.html). If u want a real website, goto bravenet and get a domain for urself.
