Phil Elverum will release his first of two Mount Eerie albums in May with Clear Moon, an 11-track collection that will serve as the follow-up to 2009's great Wind's Poem. Today, we're hearing the lead single off Clear Moon in "House Shape," which is the very definition of a burner. The track builds slowly, albeit steadily at a foot-stomping pace, for nearly two minutes as guitars and synthesizers swirl around the percussion. Then, Elverum's layered, slightly distorted vocals drop into the mix and everything really comes together.
