i realize what you mean by per capita. I have taken stas lol. But if you were to look at the NUMBER of lower socioecnomic class groups...not only is the line for that drawn different in Canada and Denark...but the regions where these people live is different as well. Firearms are not the factor. I would say look at inner city and quality of education IN the inner city would be a better factor. The look at gang numbers. Violence happens regardless of what weapons are legal.

per capita i mean per 100,000 people how many are inprisoned so if we were to look at specifically a city of Canada or Denmark and compare US city of the same size and economic status then that would be equal you would find that Canada and Denmark would have lower crime rates

But the USSR collapsed because it could not compete economically with the United States and their entire governmental system could not stabalize itself like the United Stats could during the recessions. Ok I think some of these points need clarifying. Guns) Do you REALLY think that a staunchly anti-gun government would allow me to have a gun simply because I wanted one? Now if you are going to bring up per Capita then I think you need to take into account the per capita of lower socioeconomic class people there are. That is proven to be the biggest factor in violence(not religon or guns). And hunting is also a reason I have guns. And my religon is prominant HERE. not there. that clearer? :)

Guns aren't a necessity if you really want them people can apply for a license, that might explain why they have lower crime rates per capita, pretty sure the founding fathers of America wanted people to have choice as to what people want to worship so what if people in Denmark don't worship anything doesn't mean that they are moraless (quite the contrary), atheists and agnogstics don't just commit crimes cause their is no god stopping them from doing it its cause they have personal beliefs

Hell Canada has a horrible healthcare system not and they have about 33 million and they are a better example of what a nightmare it is for large countries.
