    lol

  • Yeah, I was the Asian guy with the white tanktop. My friend who was standing next to me...she was screaming her head off too! I came all the way from San Diego, and stood in line from 4-5, then stood at the front of the stage from 5 to 1015 when the concert ended!

  • lol!

i was the one in the red beach boys shirt and we came from la habra its not that far but we stood in line for only like 10 minutes at 5:20 or so and we got eigth row seats but then my friends and i wanted to go to the bottom so we went in front of the stage

  • With the Wilsons and Al gone, they just seem like a half decent "Tribute Band"....

  • @DefMode66 get a life man! We all know the story by now and have to read it again with every single youtube video. Give some space to people who can actually enjoy the music.

Mike's happy now, Brian's happy.... so why shouldn't we be happy? Djeeezzz

  • @mdefil23 I'm not a negative person at all. Mike's Contribution was minimal. He worked his antics to getting a writing credit on Wouldn't It Be NIce when the Pet Sounds album was written by Wilson/Asher. Kokomo had three other contributors in Mckenzie, Phillips, and Melcher. As I have said all of the songs Love helped Brian write would have been done regardless. Mike has not done much to win over fans over the years. Brian was the genius and Carl the bands leader until his death.

  • @DefMode66 Wow you're such a negative person! Mike's contribution, along with Brian, was incredible! I'm so shocked how a "beach boys" fan can turn something so positive into a negative. What about KOKOMO? What a peaceful song :)

  • If you were in NY they would of stopped you recording. Nice post thanks.

  • @dalecrain You're an asshole.

  • @DefMode66 OCA isn't average. It sucks. But you know what doesn't suck? Kiss Me Baby. Here Today. I Get Around. Catch A Wave. And hundreds of other songs where Mike was the lead vocals, you angry worm. Congrats on being one of the cool guys who only appreciates Brian's genius and takes shots at Mike. Today when I lay out in the hot sun, I'll be playing surfing songs sung by Mike and songs sung by Brian, and I'll have a smile on my face the whole time.

  • @DefMode66 I didn't put a lot of thought into it. :)

I'll tell you what my problem is. I love most of their shit. That's right. From songs like Barbie and What is a Young GIrl Made Of through songs like It's Getting Late.

Orange Crate Art, to me, sounded terrible. Brian Wilson's recent Smile, to me, sounded terrible. But I don't hold that against him just like I don't make shitty remarks about Mike because he sounds bad. I love what they gave.

  • @HOGEFAN The best you can up with is that! Wow you have a ways with words. The songs all would have been made without Mike I'm sorry to break your heart fool but Brian was all about the music. He wrote it and produced it. Mike patched in words which would have been another pen pal because Brian had Roger Christian, Gary Usher, Tony Asher. In the 70's Carl and Dennis Wilson over shadowed Mike as far as writing is concerned.

  • @HOGEFAN Orange Crate Cart is average but at least he is productive and releasing new material. Pet Sounds happened largely in part of Brians creative ability to stray away from surf songs and having a great pen pal in Tony Asher! I am not bitter and Brian was not into what was going on around him when his Dad sold the catalog.Brian turned the sound of the Beach Boys with Don't Worry Baby without Mike's influence!
