Until he reached the rising of the sun and found it rising on a people to whom We had not given any shelter from it. (Surat al-Kahf, 90)The Arabic word “sitran” in verse 90 of Surat al-Kahf means “cover, shelter, curtain or screen.” The term "lam najAAal lahum min dooniha sitran" describes an environment devoid of any shelter or protection against the Sun. In the light of present-day knowledge, this is suggestive of the ozone layer that protects living things against harmful solar rays.

@mystereed72 recently science found Sun has been emitting heat for around 5 billion years and it will expire evantually. It has been mentioned in Quran saveral places He makes night merge into day and day merge into night, and He has made the Sun and Moon subservient, each one running until a specified time. That is Allah, your Lord. The Kingdom is His. Those you call on besides Him have no power over even the smallest speck. (Surah Fatir, 13)

Respond to this video...  brother I am showing you examples, you can go and check references, previously science said moon has it's own light, recently they come to know it has reflected light this mentioned 1400 years ago in Quran. Surah Furkan chapter 25. verse no 61.Blessed be He Who hath placed in the heaven mansions of the stars, and hath placed therein a great lamp and a moon giving light!. it has been used arebic word Munir..for moon. which means reflected light.

@mystereed72 in 1597 when sir Francis sail around the earth and he proof the earth shape is spherical.the Quran says 1400 years ago in Surah Nazia chapter 79,Verse no 30. the earh as been created in Geospherical shape. The word used in verse Dahaha, which means "expanse"..the other mean of it is an egg, which come from dhuiya .it doesn't refere to a normal egg, it means an ostrich egg. who can tell you mechanism of the earth? producer,Manufacturer,inventor or creator.

Seriously this is boring. This is theoretical musing, the great sleeping pill for the open-minded. There is no accurate science in the Quran, let alone 1000 verses. I can't believe you'd even say that, can you show me one as an example?
