had this on my first northern soul CD played it every day and dance and then my mom wanted to join in thoughs were the best of days.

It turns out her real name is "Gardenia Barnes" - I have a 1 hr radio show ....all Northern Soul with explanations of the people the Interviewee Met .....Inc .Dena....
Will post segment at some point if can get permission.......!!

Glad to help...........mine is not the only copy of the song on Youtube , but one of my all time Fav's Too , My Single , is the Red Label orig - but have to put a 1p on the record arm to play ............LOL - WORN OUT.......!!! - Hope to Post a few More Northern Classics SOON - (Big Maybelle - Elanor Rigby , 12" Tainted Love , etc etc ............!!) - MUSIC IS FOR MEMORIES - KEEP THE FAITH......!!!
