i thought he was going to go all out and shred like crazy in yngwie style or something and ruin a hendrix song. For the most part, it was pretty soulful. He did get a little crazy in both solos, but but it was still all good.

average guitarists canNot replicate Yngwie or this guy, at least not perfectly, so you're just one confused and jealous person who should make your comments in public so people can do things to you that you really deserve, you dumb idiot!

This song was written by hendrix as a ruminative piece, not one designed for showcasing speed or anything crazy, and this cover definitely isn't representative of the guy's talent. Neo-classical like anything else can be boring if you listen to it daily, even the best songs by the best musicians can be boring if you listen to it everyday, no kidding! But on your claim that you being an average guitarist, can hand neo-classical shit implying your level is on Yngwie's or this guitarist's is bull.

hmmmmm didnt really like the solo aye....usually most of his solo's are pretty soulful and well done. This was'nt his best work as far as im concerend. Then again im not putting vids up there but hey there is a comment box so im going to use it ;p

I dont get it, the guy is an OK ish guitarist but Hendrix did this so much better and all this shit about him blowing away yngwie is just rubbish, essentialy he copies other styles in his own way, it may sound great to some ears but Frank Marino kills him at Hendrix covers and the neo classical thing was made famous 20 years ago by Yngwie, tis been done to death and is now just boring. Even average guitarists like me can handle neoclassical shit and hendrix covers to this standard stop the hype.
