Our lives today bring us in touch with many different cultures -- both East and West. Ever wonder where some of the things we use every day come from?

طبيعة حياتنا اليوم تجعلنا نتواصل مع العديد من الثقافات المختلفة ... من الشرق والغرب. هل تساءلت يوما من اين تأتي الاشياء التي نستخدمها يوميا؟

  • This video does not imply, in any way, that they hate the Americans. This is made as a tool to let everyone know that they're more civilized and able than what they are given credit for. It is to educate people that we are a global nation, that we are capable of understanding one another, that we can share what we have to the entire world, that compromise can be done through peaceful negotionations, etc. Peace is possible. And your "getting on my nerves" doesn't help in the process.

  • Then there is also the checks that we write. That also came from the Muslim world.

  • @GIRLANDLAKAIFORLIFE Because she WAS referring to Muslims. You don't have to be an Arab to be a Muslim. Common sense.

  • @HasanAlkhazraji I swear this comment isn't meant to come off as rude or mean, but I honestly want to know why ppl are proud of the country they are born into? Like, you have no control over it, so what's the point? I was raised to be proud of things I chose or accomplished. I think ppl should be more proud of religion or career choice or whatever. Cuz then you have the right to be proud, cuz you either choose to act according to that religion/do that job etc. Again no offense intended!

  • Most historians consider the story of Kaldi discovering coffee to be non-historical. Records of it appear much later. It's ironic that Muslims would invent deodorant if they seldom ever wear it! Plus, perfume predates Islam. I love how they attribute one guy's eating habits to the fact that we can "enjoy all this", implying he invented eating or something! Glass-making dates back to 3500 BC with the Mesopotamians. She even admits carpets came from the Bedouins. And, is she Muslim or something?

  • @bilelrouabhia2008 she is, and she's the Queen of Jordan.

  • That's amazing, great choice of subject your Majesty. Aren't Muslims just amazing, when they want to be? why not wanting to be right now? what's holding us back? (The wars and the hate of others, I know) but we should at least try, and show the world the other side, the great side of a Muslim's mind and Religion.

  • Even from Uzbekistan we had a lot of GREAT scientist.

  • @crizl2007 Get out of "your" cave then talk about others.

In the current age, great Muslim minds are being buried by their dictators.
