Yes, a schmukmup channel cannot be without Sinistar, the game that ate kittens for breakfast and your soul for dinner. The game that gave nightmares to kids back then. And those evil SEVEN (7) voice clips...

It was run and bomb or die, die a painful and quick death because all the odds were against you.

Certainly, not sure I wanna play this one any longer, just wanted to portray how mean and evil Sinistar is, zero skills here I even got eaten by that damn roaring thing.

The controls take a while to get used to and the inertia plus those evil warrior ships and the roaring will drive you mad.

The thing was unbeatable. Worst of all was that creepy roar and wooshing sensation like he was sucking you in . . chasing you . . try as you might to "thrust" away. And to be eaten and then called a "coward" straight to your face by that unflinching, condescending and intimidating head as your mother pulled you away from the game to leave was the worst insult

The trick is learning how to milk asteroids quickly and collecting lots of sinibombs before the  Sninistar gets completed.

I thought I was the only one who found this scary as a kid. I'd freak out everytime I heard the "beware I live". Funny how things get engrained in your psyche!

I have played this game numerous times. It's so intense, yet very challenging. I made it through all six levels, the first stage, the worker zone, the warrior zone, the planetoid zone, the void zone, and the second worker zone. I tried making it through the second warrior stage, but I never stood a chance. It took all 99 ships/lives for me to reagh a few levels, man ! It's like a war zone!
