Jaguars Hail Mary To Beat The Texans...According to Tecmo (MORE GUS JOHNSON!)

Week 10, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans looked poised to go to overtime in a key AFC South division game. With 3 seconds left from their 49 yard line, the Jaguars had nothing to lose by trying the heave to the endzone.

David Garrard threw it to the endzone to Mike Sims-Walker. Texans DB Glover Quin jumped up to deflect it down. Unfortunately for him, he deflected it right into the hands of Jaguar Mike Thomas for the game winning touchdown.

Here is that play as taking place on the video game Tecmo Super Bowl. This took some editing, as this play can NOT take place naturally on this game.

Of course, the amazing Gus Johnson was the guy on the call, and it was a good one as always.

(And before some idiot comments without reading this: ON THIS GAME, BOTH TEAMS ENDZONES SHOW UP, SO DON'T TELL ME "Duhhh, but the Jaguars were at home!" I know.)

@norcalbirdz - I know, it's pretty cool how emulators have kept these old games alive. Years ago I had the idea of cracking the code on the old 8-bit Tecmo Super Bowl and updating all the rosters, except I have no talent whatsoever for programming so I never did it. Of course, I would have kept Bo Jackson on the Raiders...
