  • gosh, its a bloody book and a film..wow...how can that bloody show athesim...its pathetic. I am catholic, love the book...so you people are just pathetic, if you want to boycott it, do it where someone actually cares!

  • What's wrong with a book or a movie that drives you to question your beliefs and your actions towards those who do not share your beliefs? Faith is all about free will and challenges to what is true. Faith without questioning is just blind obedience not true and strong. If you let a movie destroy your faith in god or the church then it wasn't as strong as it was in the first place. Don't blame the movie or book for that matter.

  • i love eva green.

  • it's not fair. His Dark Materials is a great serie, with good characters. But the movie is not a sucess, so the fans will cannot see more movies.

  • Philip Pullman

you are my hero! I love the books! Your book are the best! I cant even begain to explain how great they are. I hope you write a 4th one! And they should come out with the 2nd movie. Thats my favorite book. But Golden Compass is still the best!

  • At the beginning you hear: The quiditch Match from Patrick Doyle (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire)

  • Anyone that researches what I've written about below will see what Keith and I are on about. The writer does hate god though (or the idea of him) and would like children to see it his way which is a bit harsh to try and impose that on an impressionable mind - The bible and the teachings isn't really about in schools any more and I think that's fair enough but for him to try and teach the opposite to kids is just as bad as them getting forced to read the bible.

  • go mstr scorses bee he is awsome

  • might be a bit hard to sell his soul considering he's an atheist! The movie wasn't great but if it gets more people reading the books then it was well worth it. Even if it does have that "goofy little girl" in their brian (who btw I thought gave a fantasic performance)
