but anime is NOT for kids rlly. 4kids just alters the animes to make them that way-alters them a little too much i might add-taking out all japanese culture-the food, the words on banners and advertisements,hell, even the friggen utensils that were used(chopsticks) were changed to forks! go to a channel called hikayagami-she presents all the wrongs that 4kids did to this anime.

ya,i'm just saying that they ARE meant for kids, dubs. i don't even watch dubs, it just seems to bring me dissapointment when i try. i tried watching code geass english dub- it was the worst voice actor for the personality of the main character, not to mention his voice acting was just bad in general...i bet dubs would be better off being put in the responsibility of the UK than america, i bet they could make much better dubs than us...

@Ereonz sorry-you would've had to see the discussion i was talking about to understand. 4kids dubs were what i was talking about, which are all extremely childish and overly-censored. don't get me wrong, i watch some dubs too, including FMA and rave master.

@raveouse I don't think they are meant for kids.. I'm 16 and i started to watch naruto , but so what? Besides if some characters are dressed and look to sexy for kids , girls shouldn't be sexy looking if they are meant for kids..Compare some of naruto's girls with pokemon's girls..just saying,but you're right tho

@alch3mist785 well, some are voice actors are more favored than others. for instance-vic mignogna, famous for doing an extremely good voice of edward elric, has voiced at least 75% of their dubs. he's in ouran high school host club, devil may cry, soul eater, and that extremely sad one where the main character girl died and main male character died and turned into a crow(the movie was better by a longshot)

@raveouse well, since I watched the entire 1st season on youtube, I flipped back and forth. But I didn't see it matching the dub well. But I swear, funimation sounds like they only have 5 dubbers max. All the animes and actors sound the same, atleast they don't mutilate anime like 4kids
