  • its cool though that he lets the other guys have some songs. I'm sure he knew that people want to hear him mostly but he wanted his friends to get some some exposure which is pretty cool

  • Some of the best lyrics he's ever written. Amazing song.

  • can anyone send me this album?

  • I've been a fan of Bright Eyes for 7 years. I don't think this is THAT different, Conor's voice is so distinctive to me. I'm glad some other people are singing a bit, b/c I hate to say it but that is what ruins Bright Eyes and other Oberst projects for many people. I love his voices raw emotion and vulnerability and admire that he sings his words rather than selling out but I have to be honest. His words are amazing, his vision and instrumentals can't be beat but vocally there are better artists

  • its good, not the best lyrically though. i'd say train underwater is pretty amazing. but i think anything by conor is genius. he fails to dissapoint. :)

  • Oh you mean, that there are other songs that are cool to you or it is that only you have the ultimate universal criteria when deciding which ones are the best?

  • Thanks for putting these up, I've been listening to them every day. This is my favorite song in the new album. cheers.

  • I know...digital ash i think consistently has the best lyrics.

THe levity of longing that distills each dream inside my head by morning watered down forget on silver stars i wish and wish

    :O

  • it's a good song, but that's not true. and those aren't even his best songs. but its cool. to you, its what it is.

  • re-listening to the lyrics closely they are absolutely incredible. Lyrically this is genius up there with waste of paint and lua... i'm not even kidding
