Tested on a YZ250F. Compared to stock the lexx gave the yamaha a more wide open feel. It was a lot smoother and the bottom end hit the yamaha is known for did not exist as much, for the lexx used that power to add to more mid and some top end power. It pulls a lot longer and you won't be shifting as much. The lexx is louder and did give some more horsepower. The db i'm not aware of on the lexx.

  • what would you say is better in performance a fmf powercore 4 or the lexx exhaust

  • @timifey Well, to be completely honest, going with the lexx might be better since the price is very affordable. The lexx has a great sound, and increases horse power. The FMF however, they tend to not last very long, they have a quieter sound, but still increase horsepower like the lexx. If you’re on a budget, get a Lexx, they’ve lasted us quite over 2 years now, no complaints. Great pipe. Hope this helps.

  • Great job on the video! Thanks! i did notice your spacer is in the wrong place on the mount though. It doesn't go in between the clamp, but rather behind it (between the back of the clamp and the subframe. Put it there and it will be spaced away from the tire better and the clamp will be much tighter on the exhaust.

  • @RockyMountainATVMC Thank you and thanks for a great exhaust. Oh okay, after a few rides it would slip and we’d wonder what was the reason. Thanks for the tip!

  • thanks man yea i cant wait to get an exhaust on it i think im going to go with a fmf factory 4.1 full titanium exhaust system

  • @562raptor350se thats pretty sick. im gonna make another video soon, i just got a full exhuast system as well. It’s a rocket exhuast.

  • @NOREMAC770 - It wouldn't work so well. The outer insert is the same diameter of the exhaust core. It is as "open" as you can get. Removing it would just cause turbulence with the exhaust flow (not good).

  • @RockyMountainATVMC what if you take both of the two inserts out

  • cool man ill check it out when you make it

  • @562raptor350se It's a nice pipe. Thanks. Your bike is really nice, it looks great for an 04!
