A redo of the single greatest pwnage in Trek history, when Kirk & Co. stole the NCC-1701 out from under the nose of Starfleet Command, Captain Styles, and the USS Excelsior.
Inspired by Rifleman80's incredible BC renditions of this scene.

Be advised, I wanted to do something different with my version, so this is set in the 'prime' timeline if you will, but done in a melding of JJ and classic TMP styles.
Uniforms, panels, ships, everything but the charachters has been visually 'updated.'

None of this would have been possible without Baz1701's amazing TMP/JJ style BC ships.

**Please note**;
I don't want to hear one word about how cannon or non-cannon this video is. Its a combination of alterations I purposefully made and the limitations of my resources. Either enjoy the video for what it is, or don't bother with it.

**Also Note (For all you Elite Force Players)**
I am sorry, but none of the custom EF content featured in this video can be made available to the public. It is all in a perfectly usable state for machinima, but it is not in a package-able or usable format for others.

  • 4:38 The Excelsior captain uses his chest communicator to talk ship to ship? Good video though.

  • @BricktownBubba Good eye! Yes that's one of those 'limitations of EF' moments, turns out there is no good emote that mimicked flipping a switch on the chair arm, so I improvised.

  • I liked you "JJ-fied" Excelsior concept, although I missed some things from the original version. 1 The close up of the nacelles just making through the opening doors. "Good Morning Captain" (A reference to "Captain Kangaroo" which I think was still on then and the Excelsior chugging to a stop sounding like Mel Blanc doing Jack Benny's "Maxwell" from radio.

  • @jtkirkfan2002 Check out the credits, its not my Excelsior I just drove it for the shots. ;)

The nacelles just making it through the door would have been nice but the spacedock model was actually so large that the doors were 3 to 4 times the width of the Enterprise when open, since the model doesn't have animate doors in space, only for the ground map used to show them alone, I had to use forced perspective tricks to make the doors look smaller in space, eliminating the ability to do closeups.

  • Wrong Enterprise

  • @kurtb8474 Read the description. *roll eyes*

  • "Shall we play a game?"

    EPIC OWNAGE!!!

  • I love the part where the Excelsior's helm computer actually speaks "Greetings. Shall we play a game?" and then plays cheesy music. :-D

The computer in the actual movie only wrote out some text. I think it said "good morning Captain".

  • Good job my friend. I love the battle damage. Thank you for staying true. One thing, the bridge appeared to be in complete order. Remember how the bridge ACTUALLY was? FUCKED up! LOL! Thanks for this video. It is getting shared on FB with my friends.

  • "Gentlemen, when this is over I'll recommend you all for commendation...in whatever fleet we end up serving."

  • Dig-dug was a nice touch.

  • I love it... Absolutely love it... 5/5^* Rating :D
