  • Thank you for this Iyanla!

  • I went to the website to purchase a copy of this show on dvd and couldn't. How do we buy this show on dvd??? Thanks Iyanla, I think you are simply amazing.

  • Oh sister, since I read your book in a Medgar Evers speech class in the 90's & years later saw you at the Jacob Javitz Center in NYC you were a light. One thing you stated during that lecture/speech was "If you asked for toast and someone brings you a bagel why would you accept that? You don't want a bagel!" It was so simple that it struck home. Do not accept that which is not a part of your vision for your life. Welcome back & stay blessed sister! Thank you for your insight and honesty! Amen!

  • I got chills.

  • I got chills.

  • Iyanla -- did we grow up in the same family? At 42, I can still hear my grandmother's voice saying I was ugly, stupid, fat, lazy, annoying and the list goes on and on. I'm trying to make peace with those broken pieces, but there's a little voice inside me that says -- 'maybe she was right? maybe she saw something I didn't see in myself.' My finances are a little funny now, but I will pick up your book very soon. Thank you and be blessed, sister.
