Here is part 2 of the build process; bumper is almost done, just a few minor things like skid plate tabs, redoing a few light tabs and paint. The bumper that Marty wishes he had on his truck.

  • Man, I really want to build this!!

  • Clean ride man but I think the stinger is a couple inches to long for how narrow it is as

A double bend stinger! To each his own though! Still looks stout as hell though, I think light hoops would make it way better!

  • @FTORC1 Had to edit some typo's and rework the order of a few pictures in the slideshow.

  • @crombieposterboy OH yeah man, that is a beautiful find...you found a Gem, I couldn't believe how nice that thing is for its age and having spent its whole life up north. Make sure you find and correct all the rust and that thing will be great. I was talking about it with some people, and they said some of the recent model year GM pickups they didnt even bother to paint the frames, and they were rotting away after only 5 years of service up north.

  • @FTORC1 To my knowledge the 3VZ-E wasn't introduced until the Tacoma in 1995.5...

  • @crombieposterboy Damnit I had a brain fart too lol...yeah I forgot my truck is 2nd Gen, lol. But still the same is true, the bumpers should work no problem with the 3rd gens.

  • @crombieposterboy Stepping up to a gen 3 then? Being it's a 94, does it have the 22RE or the 3VZ-E?

  • @crombieposterboy It should look exactly the same. A second gen is a second gen. Unless you have some body damage, bent body mounts, or frame damage.

@dixiemudtoy Youtube delete the last ones?

  • @crombieposterboy

Not certain about the weight, however it's nothing the factory torsion bars couldn't handle, just might have to crank them a little. It should definitely fit on your 2nd Gen, bodylines are similar and width should be the same as my truck. Just give Kevin a call with your specific questions, he can tell you better than I could. You will definitely need to put up a video when you get it installed...muhaha.
