A man was hit by a Capital Metro bus on the University of Texas campus Friday afternoon.

According to Austin/Travis County EMS, it happened at around 1 p.m. in the 2200 block of Guadalupe Street, next to the Co-op.

Video of the incident shows the man wearing a President Obama mask waving a foam sword at a group of people across the street chanting "OU sucks!" before stepping into the street and getting hit by the bus.

The man was transported to St. David's Hospital. His injuries were not serious, according to EMS.

Austin police say the bus driver was cited for running a red light.
