"Hoots mon. There's a moose loose aboot this hoose!".
A UK #1 for three weeks. Led by Harry Robinson, they were put together as a good-time instrumental band for Jack Good's music TV show 'Oh Boy!'. Cherry Wainer on her button-upholstered organ joins in.

  • Bum

  • I've still got that somewhere - my first ever single. Sadly, it has a big crack, so is unplayable... thanks for posting this!

  • I got a record called "The Fifties" and it had that track.

    ;)

  • this version on 78 is different than the 45...the sax solo in the 45 overblows a note at :45, where he doesn't here, plus the bass pedal notes are more pronounced as I noted earlier

  • yer 78 is badly burnt but yes it does add to it. Love the bass response, the pedal notes from Cherry's organ really punches through

  • judging by the spelling... it probably did well in canada too lmao

  • Awesome, 5 stars easy, this is a rockin' tune, love the wear pattern on the disc itself, I guess I'm weird,.. but I love it!

  • thank you so much liz.
