MG Metro 6r4 - Acceleration and Engine Sound

Hello, here is a video of a MG Metro 6r4. The 6R4 used a naturally aspirated three-litre, four valve per cylinder V6 design. Producing well in excess of 400bhp in 'International Specification', the cars remain technically advanced and extremely fast, with the ability to accelerate to 60mph from standstill in 2.5 seconds. 200 built.

s4 and t16 were capable of 60 in 2.5 thought the 6r4 was more 3.5? lovely sound

@theschuminator About right, although rallycross 6r4's data logging suggests even quicker than 2.5 seconds on modern ECU's now, that is with 3.5 litre engines which they could have run in the world championship due to the final weight of the works cars.

6r4 engines can go to 4 litre, that equates to about 550 aspirated horses at about 9500 RPM.
