Welcome back to the show everyone, I'm Andrea Rene and you're watching Clevver Games. Popular building game Minecraft has officially announced a partnership with LEGO! It was only a matter of time for the building block game to actual get a real-life set of building blocks.

Some Minecrafters have already started creating LEGO works of art like these from Michael Thomas, also known as suparMacho. So Notch decided to team up with the folks at LEO CUUSOO and get an official set going. He is working with gamers like suparMacho and koalaexpert for inspiration but also wants your input too!

And not only will you be able to get your hands on the colorful building blocks in the future, but Mojang will be donating the 1% royalty fee to charity, so it is a win win! I'm sure this news is a nice pick-me-up from last week's announcement that creator Notch would be stepping down as lead developer for the game. Perhaps he wants to spend all his time building LEGO creations?
