John Travolta Qantas safety video: annoying or appropriate?

The video starts with Travolta saying, "this is your captain speaking - well, maybe not today. But I can guarantee that the guys on the flight deck and the greater team care just as much about aircraft safety as I do.
"I've been flying over 40 years as a pilot and I can tell you, there's no one I'd rather have at the controls than a Qantas pilot."
The video continues with Travolta repeatedly calling the cabin crew "the team", a term which flight attendants have complained makes them sounds like McDonald's workers.
A Qantas spokesperson said the airline had received "only positive feedback from staff and customers".

It may be cheesy, but it is a little less 'scary' than the other one. The older one had more serious music & voice, and while a safety briefing IS serious this one here is still informative but sets a bit of a lighter mood for someone who may be scared of flight.
